Getting started doesn't need a developer account or a pasted access token. You click Connect with Meta, log in with Facebook, and choose or create your WhatsApp Business Account inside Meta's own sign-up window. The account stays yours, so the number, the templates and the conversation history are all yours too. Notivo never sees your Facebook password.

Yes. Notivo sends every message through Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API, the hosted version of the WhatsApp Business Platform. It doesn't scrape WhatsApp Web or use any unofficial tool. Notivo is built by Humziq, which is a Meta Tech Provider, the status Meta gives to companies that build software on top of the WhatsApp Business Platform for other businesses.
Open Settings and click Connect with Meta. A window from Meta opens where you log in with Facebook, choose or create your WhatsApp Business Account and verify your phone number with a code. When you finish, Notivo is connected and can send. You don't need a developer account, and there are no tokens to copy and paste. Notivo never sees your Facebook password.
Both, for different things. Meta charges for the messages themselves and bills you directly. Notivo charges a flat fee for the platform, monthly or yearly. Yearly plans include 2 months free. We don't add anything on top of Meta's rates.
For the first message to a contact, yes. Business-initiated messages must use a template that Meta has approved. Approval usually comes back within minutes, though it can take up to a day. You create and submit templates from inside Notivo.
No. WhatsApp requires that people have opted in to hear from you, and so do the laws in many countries. Notivo asks you to confirm consent when you import contacts and records the source and time against each one. Our blog has a short guide on collecting opt-in the right way.
Using the official API isn't what gets numbers restricted. Complaints are. If you message people who never asked to hear from you, or send things they don't find useful, they'll block and report you, and Meta will lower your quality rating. Message people who opted in, keep it relevant, and you're in good shape.
